To open a real money account with Scarlet Poker, you first need to download our poker client. Once you’ve downloaded and followed the installation and registration instructions, you can deposit money with us in the Cashier section.

If you read on, you’ll find some answers to the most common questions we’re asked about depositing funds with with our poker room. If you can’t find what you need, you can always contact our customer service department.

Where is my money held?

Which currencies can I play in?

We accept deposits in all major currencies. Currency conversion is handled by the cage. Your withdrawal request, in the table currency (US Dollars) is sent to the cage which applies the current conversion rate. The cage sends the poker room an acknowledgement of the transaction with US Dollar and account currency amounts, along with the applied exchange rate. These are shown to you in the Cashier window of the Lobby. When you get chips while at a table, you will see the US Dollar amount, and if your cage account is in another currency, you will see that amount too.

Currencies will be transferred to the poker room using a fair exchange rate (the exchange rate used can be seen in the Cashier section of the poker client); no profits will be made on currency exchanges, and the same rate is applied to both withdrawals and deposits.

Do you pay interest on my deposit?

No.

Is my transaction secure?

Yes it is. We use secure server technology and industry standard encryption to ensure that our financial transactions are as secure as possible.

We have made certain that neither your money nor the integrity of the games is compromised. From sophisticated random number generation, to 128-bit encryption, to a range of other measures we can't disclose, we have implemented the poker room with security as a number one priority.

Do you have promotions, and how do I find out about them?

We frequently hold promotions. You will be informed of them by email, the Welcome window when you enter the game, and our Home Page. Click here for more details.

Do you have a loyalty programme?

Yes. Our Action Points system automatically rewards you while you play on our site. Action Points are accumulated by playing in both real money ring games and real money tournaments. For more information, please refer to our Action Points section.

What will my credit card charge item read?

The poker room cage (real money accounts) are managed by our payment processing company Belicia Procesing Limited.

What is the rake amount?

How long does it take to cash out my winnings?

For security reasons we process payouts within 3 business days and the delivery time is approximately 4 to 7 working days depending on the geographical location and postal system. All winnings are subject to our fraud prevention measures.

How do I get money onto the site?

You must first set up a cage, or real money, account and then make a deposit using one of the various supported payment mechanisms. When you register with the poker room, your screen name becomes tied to your cage account and whenever you take a seat at a real money table you request chips from your cage account.

How do I get money out of the poker room?

You cash out from the cage. Money in the actual poker room is returned to your cage account whenever you leave a table. You can make withdrawals from your cage account at any time.

Can I transfer money to another player?

No, money cannot be transferred between cage accounts. The dumping of chips to another player is not allowed.
